A training environment for armed forces, law enforcement and emergency services – built around a physical H145 cockpit, an immersive LED visual system and real operational scenarios.
WHY SIMULATION?

Train safely

Practice emergencies, failures and edge cases without real-world risk.

Train repeatedly

Repeat the same scenario until procedures and crew coordination become routine.

Train for the mission

Build each session around a specific mission type, region or operational profile.

The H145 Mission Training System enables crews to rehearse procedures, demanding flight conditions and operational scenarios in a controlled and repeatable environment – independent of aircraft availability, weather or mission schedules.

The system

One integrated training environment

Cockpit, controls, visuals, sound, vibration and instructor tools are designed to work as one system. The result is a shared environment for aircraft procedures, crew coordination and mission training.

Physical cockpit

Full-scale H145 D3 cockpit replication with dual controls, representative control forces, Helionix-based avionics and real Garmin GTN 750 Xi units.

Configurable mission environment

Unreal Engine-powered ENVISION visualisation creates configurable terrain, weather and mission-specific operating environments.

Immersive LED visualisation

A shared 220° × 80° LED environment with an LED floor extends the field of view without separating the crew behind headsets.

Real-time scenario control

An enclosed, dedicated instructor workspace with real-time control over key training parameters – from weather and system failures to position and exercise settings.

When real procedures matter, so does a real cockpit.

Mission-ready configuration

For the H145 platform, we use Entrol’s mission-ready configuration as the baseline. It adds the ENWALL LED visual system and ENVISION image generator to the aircraft-specific cockpit and vibration system, creating a shared environment for demanding approaches and mission-based training.

System components:
H145 FTD 3 cockpit replica with vibration
ENWALL LED visual system with floor
Enclosed instructor station
Integrated computer rack
LED WALL

Immersion without isolation

The ENWALL visual system surrounds both pilots with a continuous LED environment while keeping the physical cockpit, instruments and crew fully visible.

High-fidelity LED visualisation

High contrast, fine detail and a continuous display surface create convincing spatial depth and highly realistic training scenes.

220° × 80° field of view

The LED environment surrounds the cockpit horizontally and vertically. The LED floor extends the downward view needed for hover, approach and landing manoeuvres.

Shared visual field

Both pilots see the same scene, while the instructor monitors the exercise in real time.

Clear cockpit visibility

Crews retain an unobstructed view of the controls, instruments and one another.
TRAINING SCOPE

From basic training to operational readiness.

The system covers key training stages from fundamental flight skills to demanding procedures under instrument and night-vision conditions.

Basic Training

Fundamental flight manoeuvres, procedures and crew coordination.

Autorotation

Practise autorotation procedures through to full touchdown.

IFR Training

Instrument flight, navigation, approaches and departures under IFR conditions.

NVG Training

Train demanding flight and mission profiles under night-vision conditions.

MISSION ENVIRONMENT

A training environment built around the real mission

Training areas can be shaped around the task: familiar terrain, operational infrastructure, dynamic weather, low-level obstacles and demanding landing zones.

Landing in near-zero visibility

Mission-specific locations

Crash sites, rescue points, hospitals, air bases and other operational locations can be positioned within the training environment.

Mission-specific infrastructure

Maritime & offshore operations

Practise ship-deck landings, offshore platform approaches and open-water rescue in changing wind, weather and water conditions.

Dynamic weather conditions

Operational obstacles

Introduce power lines, wind turbines, difficult terrain and reduced visibility to reflect the risks crews face during low-level operations.

Geo-specific terrain

Complex landing environments

Confined areas, sloped helipads and demanding approaches in urban, alpine and remote terrain.

Partnership

European simulation technology. Delivered as an operational capability.

We work with Spanish simulator specialist Entrol to deliver H145 training systems for defence and public safety organisations. Entrol provides the simulation platform; we build the local project around it – from requirements and site planning to integration and long-term support.

Simulation technology

Entrol develops and manufactures the H145 simulation platform, including the cockpit, flight and systems model, visual environment and instructor software.

SIMULATION AND TRAINING CENTRE

One place for learning, training and mission preparation.

We are developing a simulation and training centre for armed forces and public safety organisations that brings different stages of training together in one place. Trainee pilots can progress can progress from foundational and procedural training towards operational readiness, while experienced crews use the same infrastructure to rehearse demanding procedures and specific mission profiles.

Planned simulation and training centre – concept visualisation

Learn. Train. Debrief. Become mission-ready.

Classroom instruction, simulator sessions, instructor-led exercises and structured debriefing form one continuous training process – from preparation and practical training to the joint review of each exercise.
